Notice to transfer systems of records.

Summary

The Office of the Secretary proposes to transfer two systems of records notices from its existing inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. On October 1, 1998, the United States On-Site Inspection Agency (OSIA) was disestablished, and its mission and functions were consolidated into the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Therefore, the Privacy Act systems of records known as DOSIA 01, entitled OSIA Treaty Inspection Manpower Management System (July 18, 1996, 61 FR 37447) and DUSDA 05, entitled Human Radiation Research Review (August 1, 1996, 61 FR 40201) are being transferred to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

Dates

This proposed action will be effective without further notice on January 13, 1999, unless comments are received which result in a contrary determination.

The proposed deletions are not within the purview of subsection (r) of the Privacy Act of 1974, (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, which requires the submission of a new or altered system report.
