S.R. Hydropower of Brockway Mills; Notice of Availability of 
Revised Draft Environmental Assessment

January 21, 1999.
    A revised draft environmental assessment (EA) is available for 
public review. The EA is for an application for surrender of license. 
The EA reviews alternative for surrender and decommissioning the 
project. The EA finds approval of the application, with staff 
recommendations, would not constitute a major federal action 
significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The 
Project is located on the Williams River, Windham County, Vermont.
    The EA was written by staff in the Office of Hydropower Licensing, 
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Copies of the EA can be viewed in 
the Reference and Information Center, Room 2A, of the Commission's 
Offices at 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426. The EA may also 
be viewed on the web at www.ferc.fed.us. Please call (202) 208-2222 for 
assistance.
    Please submit any comments within 45 days from the date of this 
notice. Any comments, conclusions, or recommendations that draw upon 
studies, reports, or other working papers of substance should be 
supported by appropriate documentation.
