Authority; Correction

AGENCY: Food and Drug Administration, HHS.

ACTION: Notice; correction.

SUMMARY: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a notice 
that appeared in the Federal Register of July 6, 1999 (64 FR 36361). 
The document announced that FDA is being restructured to create a more 
streamlined and efficient Office of the Commissioner that will provide 
leadership without compromising programmatic effectiveness. The 
restructuring document, which became effective on June 20, 1999, was 
published with an inadvertent error. This document corrects that error.

    In FR Doc. 99-17019, appearing on page 36361 in the Federal

    1. On page 36362, in the first column, in the fourth paragraph, 
beginning in the twelfth line ``Center for Devices and Radiological 
Health'' is corrected to read ``Center for Drug Evaluation and 
Research.''
