Advisory Council; Notice of Meeting

    In accordance with section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory 
Committee Act (Public Law 92-463), announcement is made of the 
following National Advisory body scheduled to meet during the month of 
November 1999.

    Name: National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice 
(NACNEP).
    Date and Time: November 3, 1999; 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; November 
4, 1999; 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
    Place: Hubert H. Humphrey Building, 200 Independence Avenue, SW, 
Room 505A, Washington, DC 20201.
    The meeting is open to the public.
    Agenda: Updates on and discussion of Agency, Bureau, and 
Division activities, and the legislative and budget status of 
programs; review of the National Agenda for Nursing Workforce 
Diversity draft; continuation of Council strategic planning process; 
update on funding allocation methodology; and presentation of 
exemplary practices supported by Title VIII.
