Summary
On January 15, 1999, the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) published in the Federal Register (64 FR 2657) a Notice of Availability, with public comment dates, for the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed Southpoint Power Plant, Fort Mojave Indian Reservation, Mojave County, Arizona. The BIA now wishes to amend its public comment dates for this FEIS, to make them consistent with the comment period for the Notice of Availability for this same FEIS published by the Environmental Protection Agency in the January 22, 1999, Federal Register (64 FR 3510).

Written comments will be accepted through February 23, 1999. The Record of Decision will be issued on or after February 26, 1999.
