Columbia Gas Transmission; Notice of Compliance Filing

March 30, 1999.
    Take notice that on March 25, 1999, Columbia Gas Transmission 
Corporation (Columbia) made its filing in compliance with the 
Commission's March 10, 1999 letter order. In that order, the Commission 
conditionally accepted two of Columbia's filed tariff sheets (Sheet 
Nos. 518 and 538), subject to Columbia explaining how its proposed rate 
discount provision added to its pro forma service agreements would 
apply to its SIT Rate Schedule and PAL Rate Schedule services.
    Columbia states that copies of its compliance filing have been 
mailed to parties on the official service list to this proceeding.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
