Summary
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register of March 17, 1999 (64 FR 13254). The final rule established a standardized format and standardized content requirements for the labeling of over-the-counter (OTC) drug products. The document was inadvertently published with an incorrect effective date. This document corrects that error.

Effective April 15, 1999, the effective date of the final rule published on March 17, 1999 (64 FR 13254) is corrected to May 16, 1999.
