Description of Relief Sought: The petitioner seeks relief to accumulate additional flight test hours that represents the intended in-service aircraft configuration, capabilities, and operations after the approval of the 767-2C Amended Type Certificate. These additional flight test hours will add assurances that the 767-2C aircraft, its components and its equipment are reliable and function properly in accordance with Sec. 21.35(b)(2). The exemption will allow relief from completing the required tests prior to issuance of the Type Certificate.
