Advanced Hydropower, Inc.; Notice of Surrender of Preliminary 
Permit

    Take notice that Advanced Hydropower, Inc., permittee for the 
proposed Macon County Hydropower Project, filed a letter on March 9, 
2016, requesting that its preliminary permit be surrendered. The permit 
was issued on January 23, 2015, and would have expired on December 31 
2017.\1\ The project would have been located on the Cullasaja River, in 
Macon County, North Carolina.
