Petition for Exemption

    Docket No.: FAA-2015-6560.
    Petitioner: USA Jet Airlines.
Section of 14 CFR Affected: 121.436(a)(3).
Description of Relief Sought: USA Jet Airlines seeks relief to
allow the flight time gained as a Dassault Falcon 20 (DA-20) pilot in
command (PIC) operating under Sec. 135.4(a)(1)(2)(i)(ii) and trained
and checked under part 121 to count toward the 1,000 hours of flight
experience required by Sec. 121.436(a)(3) to serve as PIC in part 121
air carrier operations. This relief would be based upon a proposed
alternate means of compliance to allow credit for the certification
requirements of Operations Specification A057 and the part 121 training
and checking for pilots requiring an airline transport pilot and
appropriate type rating flying in USA Jet Airlines' part 135 eligible
on-demand cargo operation.
