The proposed information collection which was previously known as Application and Permit for Importation of Firearms, Ammunition and Implements of War, ATF F 6 (5330.3A) Part I, was published in the Federal Register at 81 FR 36583, on June 7, 2016, allowing for a 60-day comment period. All previous references to ``Implements of War'' were changed to ``Defense Articles,'' since ``Implements of War'' was not defined in the regulations and Defense Articles is the legal description, defined in 27 CFR part 447.

SUMMARY: The Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, 
Firearms and Explosives (ATF), will submit the following information 
collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for 
review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 
1995. The proposed information collection which was previously known as 
Application and Permit for Importation of Firearms, Ammunition and 
Implements of War, ATF F 6 (5330.3A) Part I, was published in the 
Federal Register at 81 FR 36583, on June 7, 2016, allowing for a 60-day 
comment period. All previous references to ``Implements of War'' were 
changed to ``Defense Articles,'' since ``Implements of War'' was not 
defined in the regulations and Defense Articles is the legal 
description, defined in 27 CFR part 447.
