ACTION: Comment request. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: In compliance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, 44 U.S.C. 3507(a)(1)(D), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission or FERC) is submitting its information collection [FERC-725I (Mandatory Reliability Standards for the Northeast Power Coordinating Council)] to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review of the information collection requirements. Any interested person may file comments directly with OMB and should address a copy of those comments to the Commission as explained below. The Commission previously issued a Notice in the Federal Register (81 FR 54571, 8/16/2016) requesting public comments. The Commission received no comments in response to the RD16-8-000 60-day notice and is making this notation in its submittal to OMB. Abstract: On June 9, 2016, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and the Northeast Power Coordination Council, Inc. (``NPCC'') filed a petition for Commission approval, pursuant to section 215(d)(1) of the Federal Power Act (``FPA'') \1\ and Section 39.5 \2\ of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's regulations, of the retirement of NPCC Regional Reliability Standard PRC-002-NPCC-01 (Disturbance Monitoring) and the two related NPCC regional definitions, Current Zero Time and Generating Plant. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- \1\ 16 U.S.C. 824o (2012). \2\ 18 CFR 39.5 (2015). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type of Respondents: Public utilities.
