Sustainability Subcommittee Meeting--November 2016

SUMMARY: Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92-
463, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and 
Development (ORD), gives notice of a meeting of the Board of Scientific 
Counselors (BOSC) Chemical Safety for Sustainability Subcommittee.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, from 
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 
6:00 p.m., and will continue on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 8:30 
a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All times noted are Eastern Time. Attendees must 
register by November 10, 2016, online at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/us-epa-bosc-chemical-safety-for-sustainability-subcommittee-tickets-28454076910. Requests for the draft agenda or for presenting written or 
oral statements at the meeting will be accepted up to November 14, 
2016.

    General Information: The meeting is open to the public. Any member 
of the public interested in attending the meeting must register by

Any member of the public interested in receiving a draft agenda, 
attending the meeting, or presenting written or oral statements at the

    For security purposes, all attendees must go through a metal 
detector, sign in with the security desk, and show government-issued 
photo identification to enter the building. Attendees are encouraged to 
arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to allow 
sufficient time for security screening. Proposed agenda items for the 
meeting include, but are not limited to, the following: Overview of 
materials provided to the subcommittee; Overview of ORD's Chemical 
Safety for Sustainability Research Program; A short update from ORD's 
Human Health Risk Assessment Research Program; Poster session; and 
Subcommittee discussion.
    Written Statements: Written statements for the public meeting

    Oral Statements: In general, each individual making an oral 
statement at the public meeting will be limited to a total of three

speakers for the BOSC meeting.
