SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On July 20, 2016, the Department of Commerce (the Department) initiated antidumping duty investigations concerning imports of finished carbon steel flanges from India, Italy and Spain.\1\ The notice of initiation stated that the Department, in accordance with section 733(b)(1)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act), and 19 CFR 351.205(b)(1), would issue its preliminary determinations no later than 140 days after the date of the initiation, unless postponed.\2\ The current deadline for the preliminary determinations of these investigations is no later than December 7, 2016. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- \1\ See Finished Carbon Steel Flanges From India, Italy, and Spain: Initiation of Less-Than-Fair-Value Investigations, 81 FR 49619 (July 28, 2016). \2\ Id., at 49622. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Postponement of Preliminary Determinations On October 31, 2016, Weldbend Corporation and Boltex Manufacturing Co., L.P.
