ACTION: Notice; public meeting.

SUMMARY: The Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Mid-
Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a meeting.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 15-16, 
2017, beginning at 1 p.m. on March 15 and conclude by 1 p.m. on March 
16. For agenda details, see SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The purpose of this meeting is to make 
multi-year ABC recommendations for golden and blueline tilefish based 
on updated stock assessment information recently complied for both 
species. In addition, topics to be discussed include the NEFSC 
Ecosystem Status Report, SSC OFL CV Progress Report, MRIP Evaluation 
Report and establishing status determination criteria for chub 
mackerel.
