ACTION: Announcement of public meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) that a meeting of the Nevada Advisory Committee (Committee) to the Commission will be held at 1:30 p.m. (Pacific Time) Thursday, January 19, 2017, for the purpose of discussing the logistics and agenda for the Committee's upcoming public meeting to hear testimony on the civil rights issues regarding municipal fees and policing practices in Nevada. DATES: The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. PST Public Call Information: Dial: 888-298-3457. Conference ID: 5007352.
