Proposed Project: Pregnancy Assistance Fund (PAF) Performance
Measures Collection, FY2017-FY2019 cohort
Abstract: The Office of Adolescent Health (OAH), U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS), is requesting approval by OMB of a new
information collection request. In FY2017, OAH expects to award a new,
3-year cohort of Pregnancy Assistance Fund (PAF) grants. Performance
measure data collection is a requirement of PAF grants and is included
in the funding announcement.
Need and Proposed Use of the Information: The data collection will
provide OAH with performance data to inform planning and resource
allocation decisions; identify technical assistance needs for grantees;
facilitate grantees' continuous quality improvement in program
implementation; and provide Congress, OMB, and the general public with
information about the individuals who participate in PAF-funded
activities and the services they receive.
Likely Respondents: 20 PAF grantees (States and Tribes).
Burden Statement: Burden in this context means the time expended by
persons to generate, maintain, retain, disclose, or provide the
information requested. This includes the time needed to review
instructions; to develop, acquire, install and utilize technology and
systems for the purpose of collecting, validating and verifying
information, processing and maintaining information, and disclosing and
providing information; to train personnel and to be able to respond to
a collection of information; to search data sources; to complete and
review the collection of information; and to transmit or otherwise
disclose the information. The table below summarizes the total annual
burden hours estimated for this ICR.
