SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the 
rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights 
(Commission), and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that a 
briefing meeting of the Rhode Island Advisory Committee to the 
Commission will convene at 9:00 a.m. (EDT) on Friday, April 27, 2018 in 
Room 222 at the Rhode Island State House, 82 Smith Street, Providence, 
RI 02903. The purpose of the briefing is to hear from government 
officials, advocates, and others on Predatory Lending in Rhode Island.
